Less Words/More Music Issue #12

Καλωσήρθατε στην δωδέκατη έκδοση του "Less Words/More Music" όπου συγκεντρώσαμε μερικά 12ιντσα ep τα οποία θα σας τραβήξουν την προσοχή. Επιπλέον, σκεφτήκαμε πως είναι πιο βολικό να είναι όλη η μουσική σε ένα συμπιεσμένο αρχείο, οπότε μπορείτε να ακολουθήσετε οποιονδήποτε από τους συνδέσμους παρακάτω για να τα κατεβάσετε.
Welcome to the twelfth issue of "Less Words/More Music". Today we've gathered a few post 12inch eps that we believe will appeal to you. Also, for your convenience, we have 'squeezed' the music into one compressed file. Therefore, you can have it by following any of the links below.


1. Ellery Bop: Fire In Reflection 12" ep [Desire-1983]
Οι Ellery Bop ήταν post punk/indie σχήμα από το Liverpool της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Πραγματικά δεν έχουμε βρεί πολλά για αυτούς, αλλά θα τους ακούσετε και θα βγάλετε τα συμπεράσματά σας. Στη σελίδα της wikipedia αναφέρει πως στις ζωντανές τους εμφανίσεις ήταν περισσότερο δραστήριοι και δυναμικοί. Χωρίς φυσικά να έχουμε προσωπική άποψη επ' αυτού, έχουμε μόνο το ep τους "Fire In Reflection" στο οποίο περιέχονται μερικά αξιοπρόσεκτα και 'ζωηρά' κομμάτια τους. Απολαύστε το!
ENG: Ellery Bop were a post punk/indie band from Liverpool, UK. Actually there isn't much info about them, but you can listen for yourselves what their sound was like. Wikipedia mentions that they sounded more energetic on stage. Not knowing whether that is a fact, "Fire In Reflection" ep contains a few notable and lively songs. Enjoy!

2. Bone Orchard: Princess Epilepsy 12" ep [Jungle-1985]
Οι Bone Orchard ήταν ένα βραχύβιο, post punk/gothic rock (batcave) σχήμα με θηλυκή παρουσία στα φωνητικά με καταγωγή από το Brighton της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας. Παρά τη αρκετά σύντομη δραστηριότητά τους από το 1983 έως το 1985, κατάφεραν να εδραιώσουν το μοναδικό ύφος τους αν και συχνά τους σύγκριναν με τους Birthday Party. Η πρώτη πλευρά του 12ιντσου ep "Princess Epilepsy" έχει έντονο, σκοτεινό και παθιασμένο ύφος. Ομοίως ενδιαφέρον είναι και το "Same Old Ball and Chain", ένα αργόσυρτο blues κομμάτι που καλύπτει την δεύτερη πλευρά που ίσως αποτελεί τη δική τους εκδοχή στο "Ball and Chain" της Big Mama Thornton. ENG: Bone Orchard were a short-lived, female fronted, post punk/gothic rock (also labeled as 'batcave') band from Brighton, U.K. Despite their short term activity (1983-1985) they managed to establish a unique style for themselves even if they were often compared to Birthday Party. The first side of the 12" e.p. "Princess Epilepsy" sounds intense, dark and passionate too. Equally intriguing is the song "Same Old Ball and Chain", a slow blues-like song - perhaps their version of Big Mama Thornton's "Ball and Chain". Enjoy!

3. Furyo: Furioso 12" ep [Anagram-1984]
Οι Furyo ήταν μουσικό σχήμα από το Luton της Μ. Βρετανίας και δημιουργήθηκαν τους Steve Abbot και Steve Harle, πρώην μέλη των U.K. Decay. Αρχικά ονομαζόντουσαν Meat of Youth και αφού προσχώρησε και ο Albie de Luca από τους Gene Loves Jezebel, τότε μετονομάστηκαν σε Furyo. Το ενδιαφέρον με τους Furyo ήταν πως το ύφος τους ήταν αρκετά διαφορετικό από αυτό των U.K. Decay ή των Gene Loves Jezebel, ή οποιουδήποτε άλλου σχήματος που αναφέρεται ως 'batcave'. Ειδικότερα, είχαν μια έντεχνη και θεατρική προσέγγιση στη μουσική τους με πολλά κλασικά και μπαρόκ στοιχεία. Όσοι από εσάς δεν γνωρίζετε τους Furyo θα σας ξαφνιάσει το πόσο πολύ εξέλιξαν την post punk/gothic μουσική τους. Μην το χάσετε!
ENG: Furyo was a band from Luton, U.K. and was created by Steve Abbot and Steve Harle after U.K. Decay had stopped existing. At first they were called Meat of Youth, and after Albie de Luca from Gene Loves Jezebel joined the band, they renamed themselves Furyo. What's very interesting about Furyo is that their style was quite different from that of U.K. Decay or Gene Loves Jezebel or even any other 'batcave' band. More specifically, Furyo had an artistic and theatrical approach with many classical and baroque music elements. For those of you unfamiliar with the band, you'll be amazed how these musicians took their punk/post punk/gothic style lots of steps further. Definitely this one is not to be missed out. Enjoy!

4. Dustdevils: The Dropping Well 12" ep [Rouska-1987]
Οι Dustdevils ήταν ένα Νεοϋορκέζικο post punk/noise rock σχήμα με θηλυκή παρουσία στα φωνητικά με διάρκεια ζωής πάνω από μια δεκαετία. Μέλη των Dustdevils έχουν συνεργαστεί και με άλλα γνωστά σχήματα όπως οι Pavement και οι Sonic Youth. Εδώ φιλοξενούμε το πρώτο τους 12" ep με τίτλο "The Dropping Well" που κυκλοφόρησε το 1987 και αποτυπώνει τον χαρακτηριστικό τους θορυβώδη ήχο που επιτυγχάνεται με τη χρήση ενός τείχους παραμορφωμένης κιθάρας. Αν είστε ήδη εξοικειωμένοι με το συγκεκριμένο είδος, σίγουρα γνωρίζετε σε τι αναφερόμαστε. Εάν όμως όχι, τότε θα εκπλαγείτε ευχάριστα. Απολαύστε τους!
ENG: The Dustdevils were a female fronted post punk/noise rock band from in New York City, U.S. and they were active for more than a decade. Members of the Dustdevils have also worked with Pavement and Sonic Youth. In today's post there's "The Dropping Well", their first 12" ep, which was released in 1987 and illustrates their characteristic noisy sound utilising a wall of distorted guitar. Lach'n Jonsson, Songs From The Cities Of Decay LP, 1989 Bauta Records

Έχουμε άλλη μία υπερ-καθυστερημένη ανάρτηση με αρκετά ενδιαφέρουσα μουσική από τον 'Unspeakable'. Αφορά σε έναν όχι τόσο γνωστό καλλιτέχνη που ονομάζεται Lach'n Jonsson και το δεύτερο προσωπικό του δίσκο κυκλοφορίας 1989 που τιτλοφορείται "Songs From The Cities Of Decay".
Ο (Lars) Lach'n Jonsson είναι ένας πολυτάλαντος μουσικός από την Σουηδία. Παραθέτουμε κάτι σχετικά από τη σελίδα www.progarchives.com: "... πολυπράγμων μουσικός που τραγουδά, παίζει έγχορδα, πλήκτρα, κιθάρα, τύμπανα και ούτω καθ'εξής. Είναι συνθέτης και παραγωγός, διδάσκει μουσικό πολιτισμό, γράφει δισκοκριτικές, και διοργανώνει συναυλίες και φεστιβάλ στην γενέτειρά του, την πόλη Ostergotland. Είναι ιδιοκτήτης του 'Forest Studio' και της δισκογραφικής Bauta." Προφανώς τα παραπάνω μας λένε πως πρόκειται για ένα ικανότατο και πολυτάλαντο καλλιτέχνη αφού μπορεί να ερμηνεύει ολόκληρο άλμπουμ μόνος του.
Συνεπώς το "Songs From The Cities Of Decay" δεν είναι απλά πλούσιο σε ήχους και ιδέες αλλά είναι εξίσου ευχάριστα μελαγχολικό καθ' όλη τη διάρκεια του. Με ατμοσφαιρικά και 'εύθραυστα' μουσικά θέματα συχνά θυμίζει κινηματογραφική μουσική. Η πρώτη πλευρά του δίσκου είναι χωρισμένη σε οκτώ κομμάτια διαφορετικού ύφους και ρυθμού. Αντίθετα η δεύτερη αποτελείται από ένα μακροσκελές 'έπος' διάρκειας 23 λεπτών με ομαλά εναλλασσόμενα θέματα, κάποια από τα οποία είναι έντονα και επιβλητικά. Στο σύνολό του το άλμπουμ είναι πράγματι ένα καλοδουλεμένο 'κολάζ' διαφορετικών στυλ και ιδεών με όμορφες 'γέφυρες' στο πιάνο, μελωδικά μέρη με έγχορδα, όπως και απόκοσμων φωνητικών αποδόσεων ιδιαίτερα στο "Monuments" οι οποίες θυμίζουν χορικό αρχαίας τραγωδίας. Είναι δύσκολο να βάλει ταμπέλα στην δουλειά του καλλιτέχνη αυτού, αν και θα μπορούσαμε να την κατατάξουμε ως "RIO" [Rock In Opposition]. Ο όρος αυτός αναφέρεται κυρίως σε μουσικούς ή μουσικά σχήματα των οποίων το μη συμβατικό ύφος δεν αναγνωρίζεται από την κυρίαρχη, συμβατή εμπορική μουσική βιομηχανία.
Αν και δεν έχουμε ακούσει το πρώτο solo άλμπουμ του Jonsson "Music For The Dying Forest" (1985), ή το τρίτο "Songs Between Cities and Waterholes" (1992), μας φαίνεται πως το σύνολο των τριών αυτών κυκλοφοριών αποτελεί ένα είδος τριλογίας γύρω από μια συγκεκριμένη θεματολογία. Όπως και νά'χει, θέλουμε να πιστεύουμε πως θα ταυτιστείτε με την εκφραστική μουσική του "Songs From The Cities Of Decay" ιδιαιτέρως όσοι εντρυφείτε σε πειραματικά ηχοτοπία. Απολαύστε το!

ENG: Now that's another overdue post with more intriguing music introduced to you by The Unspeakable. Here's a not so well known artist by the name Lach'n Jonsson and his second and wonderful LP from 1989 entitled "Songs From The Cities Of Decay".
Lars Lach'n Jonsson is an multitalented artist from Sweden. Quoting from progarchives, "...he is a multi-instrumentalist who sings, plays strings, keyboards, guitar, drums, tuned percussion and so on. He is a composer and producer, a teacher of soundculture, a music critic, and an arranger of concerts and festivals in his native region of Ostergotland. He owns The Forest Studio and runs Bauta Records." That all says he is a skillful and versatile artist as he performs the whole album by himself.
Consequently, the music of "Songs From The Cities Of Decay" not only is rich in sounds and ideas but also pleasantly moody throughout. The themes are atmospheric and fragile and often similar to film music. The first side is conventionally divided into eight themes with varied style and pace. On the contrary, the second side consists of one lengthy 23-minute epic with smoothly alternating themes; some of them are quite strong and influencing. The whole LP is in fact a collage of different styles and ideas, with beautiful piano bridges and melodic string parts, as well as otherworldly vocals; especially in "Monuments" the vocals bring to mind chorales from an ancient greek tragedy. What's more, you can't really tag Jonsson's style. His creative work could be categorized as "RIO" [Rock In Opposition].(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_in_Opposition) The term refers to artists/groups whose diverse and unconventional style isn't recognised by the dominant, conventional and commercial music industry.
While not having listened to Jonsson's first solo LP "Music For The Dying Forest" (1985) or the third one "Songs Between Cities and Waterholes" (1992), it somehow feels like these three albums were meant to be a kind of informal trilogy related to certain themes. Whatever the case is, we believe that you'll relate to the expressive music of "Songs From The Cities Of Decay", especially those of you who indulge yourselves in experimental soundscapes. Enjoy.

Έφθασε και η δέκατη εκδοχή της ενότητας Less Words/More Music και είναι η πρώτη για το 2016. Συμπεριλαμβάνονται δύο μπάντες από τη Σουηδία, οι Laughing και οι Man Klan, αλλά και μία μπάντα από την Μεγάλη Βρετανία, οι M4Alice. Επίσης, έχουμε και τη μοναδική κυκλοφορία των Fur Bible, ενός σχήματος από τις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. Σε όλα τα προαναφερθέντα σχήματα ο κυρίαρχος ήχος είναι post punk/deathrock και gothic. Ορμήστε και απολαύστε τη μουσική.
Here's the tenth issue of Less Words/More Music and the first one for 2016. Included are two bands from Sweden, Laughing and Man Klan as well as two bands from the U.K. All of the above are in the post punk/deathrock and gothic genre. Dig in and enjoy.

1. Laughing: Kort Tid Av Lycka e.p. [S-Skivor-1984]
Οι Laughing είναι ένα post punk σχήμα από τη Σουηδία. Κατέστη απολύτως αδύνατο να εντοπίσουμε ο,τιδήποτε για αυτούς, επομένως όποια πληροφορία από τους αναγνώστες μας θα ήταν ευπρόσδεκτη. Άσχετα με αυτό, η μουσική τους είναι υπέροχη με σκοτεινά post punk -σχεδόν goth- τραγούδια. Ο τίτλος του μοναδικού τους δίσκου σημαίνει "Μια μικρή περίοδος ευτυχίας". Από όσο γνωρίζουμε δεν έχει αναρτηθεί ποτέ πριν. Καλή ακρόαση.
ENG: Laughing are a post punk band from Sweden. It's been absolutely impossible to locate any data on them, so any feedback from readers is welcome. Despite the lack of trivial information, their music is awesome with dark post punk and goth style songs. Apparently, "Kort Tid Av Lycka" [means "Short Period of Happiness"] is their sole release and as far as we know, it has never been posted elsewhere. Enjoy!

2. Man Klan: Boys From This Territory e.p. [Wire Records-1985]
Οι Man Klan είναι ένα new wave/post punk και έρχονται επίσης από τη Σουηδία. Παρ' όλο που είναι σχετικά άγνωστοι, εντούτοις ο μοναδικός μεγάλος τους δίσκος "Flesh Machine" (1987) έχει αναρτηθεί στο μπλόγκ Systems of Romance. Γεγονός είναι ότι οι Man Klan έχουν γυναικεία φωνητικάκαι οι τίτλοι και οι στίχοι των δυναμικών τραγουδιών τους έχουν αμφίσημη σημασία. Eμείς αγαπάμε τη μουσική τους και πιστεύουμε πως και εσείς θα κάνετε το ίδιο. Απολαύστε τους.
ENG: Man Klan are another new wave/post punk band from Sweden. They are relatively obscure too, except for the fact that Their 1987 "Flesh Machine" LP is already posted on Systems of Romance. They were a female fronted band with strong songs and really ambiguous song titles and lyrics. The "Boys Of This Territory" e.p. which we're posting today was released two years prior to the aforementioned LP. All in all, we love their music and we think you will too. Enjoy!

3. M4Alice: Shiloh e.p. [Plastic Head Records-1988]
Οι  M4Alice είναι Βρετανικό σχήμα που παίζει σκοτεινή post punk. Φυσικά δεν έχουμε βρει τίποτα για αυτούς, όμως θεωρήσαμε πως πρέπει να αναρτηθεί η μουσική τους. Παλιότερα υπήρξε μια ανάρτηση για τους M4Alice στο thepostpunk80sunderground χωρίς επιπλέον πληροφορίες. Όπως και νά'χει, ο ήχος τους είναι σκοτεινός, παράξενος και κάποιες φορές τραχύς. Αφιερώστε λίγο χρόνο και ακούστε τους.
ENG: M4Alice are a British post punk/goth band of which we know nothing about, but we feel should be posted since it's not posted elsewhere. Well, thepostpunk80sunderground blog made a post about it a long time ago, but there wasn't much info there. Nevertheless, M4Alice's sound is dark and at times weirder and harsher. Take some time and listen to them. Enjoy!

4. Fur Bible: Fur Bible e.p. [New Rose-1985]
Οι Fur Bible ήταν ένα βραχύβιο σχήμα/project που δημιούργησε ο Kid Congo Powers μέλος των Gun Club, των Cramps, των Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, και της Patricia Morrisson, μέλος και αυτή των Gun Club, αλλά και των The Sisters of Mercy και των Damned. Αφού έκαναν αρκετές ζωντανές εμφανίσεις τελικά κυκλοφόρησαν το ομότιτλο e.p.. Η μουσική των Fur Bible δεν είναι πολύ διαφορετική από τη μουσική των προαναφερθέντων συγκροτημάτων, π.χ. έχουν ένα σκοτεινό rockabilly ύφος όπως των Cramps. Ο ίδιος ο Kid Congo Powers δίνει περισσότερες πληροφορίες για το συγκρότημα. Απολαύστε τους.
ENG: Fur Bible were a short lived band/project created by Kid Congo Powers (The Gun Club, The Cramps, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds) and Patricia Morrisson (The Gun Club, The Sisters of Mercy, The Damned) in 1985. They did some live gigs and released this same titled e.p.. Fur Bible isn't much different than anything else its members ever got involved into. They sound a bit rockabilly and have a dark feel similar to The Cramps. Here are some more information on the band as given by Kid Congo Powers.Enjoy!

Bliss the Pocket Opera: Wisdom Magick Chaos LP, 1990 Duck Pond Records

Άλλο ένα σχήμα με παράξενο όνομα, οι Bliss the Pocket Opera που προέρχονται από τη Μεγάλη Βρετανία. Κυκλοφόρησαν μια δοκιμαστική κασσέτα με τίτλο "Tribal Dance" το 1988 (και θα τη βρείτε εδώ) και φυσικά το άλμπουμ "Wisdom, Magick, Chaos" το 1990. Πάντως δεν υπήρχαν επαρκείς πληροφορίες για το συγκρότημα. Στο οπισθόφυλλο αναφέρει μόνο τα μικρά ονόματα των μελών και το όνομα της δισκογραφικής D.P. (Duck Pond) αποτελεί κι αυτή μυστήριο. Ασφαλώς θα έχετε προσέξει πως μας απασχολούν οι ασαφείς και μυστήριες κυκλοφορίες...
Ακόμη και αν δεν έχουν τόσο περίεργο ήχο όσο το όνομά τους, έχουν αρκετές ενδιαφέρουσες συνθέσεις. Οπωσδήποτε κάτι που προσθέτει στο goth ύφος των Bliss the Pocket Opera, είναι τα πανέμορφα γυναικεία φωνητικά. Τα περισσότερα τραγούδια του δίσκου είναι αρκετά καλά και αν μη τι άλλο δείχνουν προοπτική και ποικιλομορφία, όπως για παράδειγμα τα "Mother", "Merry-Go-Round-Games" και ειδικά το επικό "Beautiful Dreamer". Όμως, υπάρχουν και μειονεκτήματα που εντοπίζονται στα πιο αδύναμα κομμάτια. Όπως και νά'χει, ελπίζουμε να σας αρέσει.

ENG: Here's another band with a peculiar name, Bliss the Pocket Opera who originate from the U.K. They have released one demo tape "Tribal Dance" in 1988 (which you'll find here) and the LP "Wisdom, Magick, Chaos" in 1990 that we've uploaded here. Yet there isn't much we could find on the Internet about this band. The back cover credits mention first names and the label D.P. (Duck Pond) is a mystery, too. By now you've already noticed that we are in the habit of uploading such ambiguous and mysterious albums...
Even if they don't sound so peculiar as their name implies, they do have quite a few interesting compositions. The beautiful female fronted vocals add a lot to the romantic goth tune of the band. Most of the songs in the LP are quite good and show potential and diversity of style, namely "Mother", "Merry-Go-Round-Games" and especially the anthem "Beautiful Dreamer". On the other hand, there are limitations one might trace on the weaker songs. We hope you like it either way.

The Ophelia's Garden: Blood Wedding, 1997 Physis Records

...Λόγω μερικών δυσκολιών που προέκυψαν, αργήσαμε να "ξεκινήσουμε" το 2011. Όμως δεν εγκαταλείψαμε, άλλωστε δεν έχουμε τέτοιο σκοπό. Έστω και αργοπορημένα ευχόμαστε σε όλους τους φίλους και τις φίλες, όλους τους περαστικούς και μόνιμους αναγνώστες να έχετε μια καλή χρονιά, με υγεία και μπόλικη καλή μουσική. Τουλάχιστον για την μουσική θα βάλουμε και εμείς το χέρι μας.

Σήμερα λοιπόν, παρουσιάζουμε ένα Ελληνικό συγκρότημα της δεκαετίας του 1990, οι οποίοι εάν δεν είναι ήδη γνωστοί στους εραστές της ανεξάρτητης σκηνής, με αυτή την ανάρτηση θα θέλαμε να τους κάνουμε γνωστούς.
Ο λόγος φυσικά είναι για τους The Ophelia's Garden. Δημιουργήθηκαν στα 1994, από τους Κυριάκο Ηλιού και Πέτρο Τσαλπατούρο οι οποίοι ξεπήδησαν μέσα από τις στάχτες ενός παλιότερου συγκροτήματος που λεγόταν The Servants of Mephistopheles, και υπηρέτησαν τον γοτθικό ήχο μέσα από κάποιες εμφανίσεις, και δύο ντέμο κασέτες στις αρχές του 1990 (τίτλοι: "Necrophilia" και "Macabredance"). Την δεύτερη κασέτα τους μπορείτε να την βρείτε εδώ στο blog του tape recorder.

Οι Ophelia's Garden κυκλοφόρησαν την πρώτη τους ολοκληρωμένη δουλειά σε cd το 1997 με τον τίτλο "Blood Wedding" από την ανεξάρτητη Psysis Records. Το αποτέλεσμα σχεδόν δύο χρόνων δουλειάς (1995-1996) είναι ένα καταπληκτικό άλμπουμ ορόσημο και υποδειγματικό για ολόκληρη την Ελληνική σκηνή. Τα δύο κύρια μέλη του συγκροτήματος ήταν οι Κυριάκος Ηλιού (κιθάρα, μπάσο) και Πέτρος Τσαλπατούρος (στίχοι και φωνητικά), πλαισιωμένοι από τους Γιώργο Μπουσούνη (πλήκτρα), Γιώργο Γκίνη (ηχητικά εφέ) και τέλος την Μαρία Μπατιστάτου (από τους Ding An Sich) στα δεύτερα φωνητικά.

Μέσα από αυτό το πανέμορφο ντεμπούτο, ξεδιπλώνεται ένα συνολικό μουσικό αλλά και στιχουργικό ταλέντο, με αποτέλεσμα τα 9 φανταστικά τραγούδια να είναι το ένα καλύτερο από το άλλο. ...Due to certain difficulties we are somehow starting late for 2011. Howerver, we have not "abandoned ship" as we don't mean to. Even at this late date, we'd like to wish you all, friends readers and passers a healthy new year filled with great music. At least for the music part we will work too.

Today, we present a Greek group from the 1990's, who if they are not already widely known to the lovers of Greek alternative scene, then we'd like to make them known through this post.

The Ophelia's Garden were created by Kyriakos Iliou and Petros Tsalpatouros through the ashes of an older band called The Servants of Mephistopheles and....served the gothic rock sound and genre with live shows and two demo tapes from 1988 to early 90's (Necrophilia, Macabredance). The second tape can be found following the link to the tape recorder blog.

The Ophelia's Garden released their first full length work in cd format in 1997, entitled "Blood Wedding" under the alternative label Physis Records. This nearly two year (1995-1996) outcome is an excellent landmark and exemplary album for the contemporary alternative Greek music scene. The two main members were (as aforementioned) Kyriakos Iliou (guitar, bass guitar) and Petros Tsalpatouros (vocals and lyrics) with the help of Giorgos Boussounis (piano, keyboards), Giorgos Ginis (treatments and effects) and last but not least, Maria Batistatou (of Ding An Sich) (backing vocals). An overall songwriting talent is unfolded through this beautiful debut cd, resulting to 9 excellent songs. All 9 songs are lyrical, melancholic, inspired, with simple instrumentation embracing Petros Tsalpatouros' excellent deep voice - their trademark since the days of The Servants of Mephistopheles.

We urge you to read the lyrics as well, because you will be able to wander in the realm of the Ophelia's Garden, with lost loves, endless passions, ghosts of the past and mythical creatures... A parallel fairy tale world is created here in which love and death appear to be the two faces of Life. Moreover, Fate decides for all and the Power of Nature is the resolving agent of everything. Thus, it is an ethereal music album, a combination of great music and lyrics, gothic romanticism and genuine melancholy, urging the souls to quest.

To all of you who love the poetry of E.A. Poe, Charles Baudelaire, (Lord) George Gordon Byron and other "cursed" poets, we suggest "Blood Wedding" for the cold winter nights.
